EDGE PLAY - UNTIL DEATH DO WE PART
By Synthia Esther

The danger is part of the deceptive thrill amoung many Domiance and submissive (D/s) "Edge Players." Taking the term unsafe sex to the extreme level of danger, many such Edge Players end in death. Such is the case and estates of two men who died as a result of their dangerous liaison, sexual practice, which is now a tort case.
Bondage and torture ended in death for Adrian Exley, a 32 year old British stripper known as "Studpup," who died after playing around with "Extreme Edge Player" Gary LeBlanc, 48, aka "Rubberman." Exley agreed to meet with Leblanc, who was a sales executive living in a Boston suburban home. Leblanc had turned his basement into a playroom that included rubber mats, a hospital gurney and leather restraits.
Leblanc hooded and tightly wrapped chin - to - toe Exley in plastic and duct tape. Exley suffocated after the straw inserted into his mouth for breathing allegedly became dislodged, reports the Associated Press. Randy Chapman, Exley's attorney in the wrongful death case states, "Just because you are agreeing that you will allow someone to tie you up temporarily as part of role-playing doesn't mean that you are consenting to be killed or to be left alone or to be abused."
Leblanc, according to a note left when he committed suicide months later stated that Exley died alone in a closet, while bound. John Andrews, a lawyer who represents LeBlanc's estate, says Exley accepted the risk. The Salem Superior Court case was filed in August 2006, according to the Guard Post, a gay leather-oriented newsletter, which confirmed LeBlanc left $2.5 million that, under his will, would go to his family and longtime companion.
According to the ABA JOURNAL, Law News Now, Oct. 11, 2007, a third man, who was named as a defendant in the estate's tort case, also was allegedly involved in the bondage session and helped bury Exley's body in a Rode Island Park.
- GOD'S BIBLICAL WISDOM -
Proverbs 1:29-33, "Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord, since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm."
